Balloon Glow

This weekend in our town is the annual Balloonfest. Hot air balloon teams are the center of several family-oriented events, most of which are free. There are also food vendors (way greasy and way yummy foods), inflatables for kids to jump in, a mini parade, tethered balloon rides, a petting zoo, business vendors, live music, a balloon glow, and much more. My mom and I walked to the balloon glow Friday night since we lived literally about three blocks away from Freer Field. Here is a video of the "twinkling" part of the balloon glow. I will be back tomorrow with more highlights of this happy holiday weekend. It's great to live in a free country and I am so thankful for the service men and women who continue to defend our freedom each day. Happy July 4th! Hope you're having a wonderful day!

I am heading outside now for fireworks. Those are done just about three blocks the opposite direction of Balloonfest, so we're watching them from our back yard. :)
