What a blessing to spend another year celebrating with family. Merry Christmas!
Jack tolerates props, but really doesn't like this whole process. Look how cute he is!!!
Riley loves t-shirts, sweaters and doggy pajamas. As far as antlers...well, not so much. Adorable!
We received several handmade Christmas cards, so I thought I'd share them here.
This is my card. The color combo was inspired by a paint swatch at Sherwin Williams. I loved adding a lot of texture with embossing folders. The little reindeer with his tiny red bling nose makes me smile.

For Larry & Connie
I made this card for Larry & Connie's 45th Anniversary. I added a stamped sentiment, some twine and a tiny glittery punched heart.

Dad's Birthday Card 2012
I went straight to my bin of patterned paper scraps for the printed background piece. It is amazing what treasures I find in that bin! I then added a star punch, some Doodlebug word stickers for the sentiment, ribbon, twine and brads. I inked the edges of the gray piece for contrast against the white paper. This layout is simple-dee-dimple. I like simple sometimes!
Here is a closer look. To keep the twine in place, I put down a thin strip of Scor-Tape and simply taped the ends behind the gray layer. It is a nice alternative to always having the tied ends showing on the front of the card.
I have a few more cards to show from October. I haven't taken pictures lately of everything I've created, but hope to showcase a few more things like layouts and holiday cards soon. Sometimes I am in a rush to get it in the mailbox and don't have time.
Hope all is well with your and yours. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh, by the way...I have changed the way the comments appear on my blog. I have been getting spam posts lately and have now decided to moderate all comments before they appear below a post. I do NOT like spammers! I simply love my crafty friends' comments only.

Thanksgiving 2011 Mini Album
I used the Stampin' Up! mini chipboard album for this project. I think it is 4x4 or 5x5. Just the right size to complete an album about one event. I kept things pretty simple for this project.

Frosty Paws
This layout is about Riley's 3rd birthday on 9/5/11. I did a simple layout using wallet-size photos. Click either pic for a closer look.
Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow I will feature a mini album I did about Thanksgiving 2011.

Three Brothers
Oh.my.gosh. How cute are these boys? I am so in love. Click on the pics to see details. I used shaped-edge paper, patterned paper, solid paper, Cricut die-cuts, punches and stickers to make this page. It has a lot going on...
I love the number borders available on the Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge.
You usually see 1 + 2 =3, but I did a 2 first since the two brothers (Riley and Tucker) were born first. Clever, eh? Charlie is from the same parents, but was born in the next litter.
Riley, Tucker, Charlie....talk about cute! They were in their Christmas pajamas. *snort*

Doggone Cute
Riley is adorable. On this particular day we were either heading to the vet or the groomer. That little face melts my heart.
Have you ever layered buttons and added twine to keep them together? It is a neat way to use buttons.
Thanks for stopping by! I have two more layouts about adorable pooches. Stop back soon!

Sock Thief
Jack and Riley are both sock thieves. On this particular day, Jack managed to steal almost all of my clean ones from the laundry basket. I was in my craft area and he'd grab one, run upstairs, then come back downstairs and steal another one. I finally went up and found them in his "secret hiding place". Anytime he goes under the small side table in the family room we know he's up to no good. I love how this page turned out. He is my silly furball.
I scored the entire 12x12 base cardstock using the new diagonal scoring board from Stampin' Up!. I added some other little elements to create a one-of-a-kind embellishment in the top left corner.
I journaled. Don't faint.

Card Day Projects
I promised you I'd eventually post the rest of the cards I made at Card Day. Here you go!
Click any picture for a closer look. On this black and white one, I totally smudged the ink. Oops!
This card uses some of the new dies and piercing templates. All products in this post are from Stampin' Up!.
I stamped Happy Birthday on the wrong side, so my card looks different than Connie's sample. ha
Here's an idea...stamp your sentiment, THEN emboss your cardstock. Neat textured look...
I got interrupted today while taking pictures. As you can see, he is SITTING on my projects. Riley!
See the patterned paper peeking out? Just use an edge punch then adhere a strip of paper underneath for a cool look.
I didn't add a sentiment to this one like the sample showed. I will stamp something inside instead.
Have you ever used a blender pen? Just dip it into your ink pad and color away for a neat "shaded" look.
It is hard to see here, but the cake is adhered to a scalloped square of GLITTER paper. Yum!
Ok, I FINALLY took pics of some of my recent scrapbook pages. Check back this week for more inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
