Rustic Winter

All supplies SU! except dark brown cardstock from Archivers and embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The main colors are Garden Green and Chocolate Chip with Kraft cardstock. I inked the edges of the embossed piece, added the linen thread and eyelet. The punches are the small and regular tag punches from SU! I will use these for my Christmas thank you cards.
I stamped the coordinating image on the envelopes, too. I am in love with Kraft cardstock right now. Well, actually I am ALWAYS in love with Kraft cardstock. The combo of Kraft, inked edges and the linen thread reminds me of an old package or how they used to wrap up goods with twine at an old store. I wanted to use non-traditional winter colors for this, too.
The other day when I was going through my embossing folders, I realized that I had a duplicate. I have less than 10 embossing folders, yet somehow managed to buy a duplicate. *rolls eyes* Anyone need one? Just leave your e-mail address in a comment, I'll contact you for an address and I'll send it to you. First one to respond gets it. Ready, set, go! LOL! Looks like it goes to Lisa! :)
The boys LOVE the snow. They run and run and run and run and run......
Riley is so close to the ground that he gets snow matted in his belly fur, all over his face and shivers when he comes in. He thinks he's a big dog and can play like that as long as Jack does.
What a blessing to have all the doggie paw tracks in our yard again. Macy sure loved snow and I'm glad the boys do, too. :)
I had to snuggle Riley in a towel, then dry him with the hair dryer to get him warm again. These pics were taken on New Year's Eve. He's a little ragamuffin when he's all wet! :)
