Where did the time go?

Whew....this week flew by. I haven't posted since Sunday! I still need to show a card I made using my new Extreme Guitar stamp from SU!. The guitar player takes me right back to the Bon Jovi days of the 80s. :)

I have Friday-Tuesday off work. I'll do things around the house, go scrapbooking with Connie and Mom and SLEEP IN! I really want to get the house shutters repainted. They are dark green, but have faded over the seven years we've lived here. They just need a fresh coat to spruce up the house.

I saw the neatest, eerie thing outside tonight....a spider has woven a delightful web on our light pole. He was hanging out right in the center, but you can see where he has already captured some yummy prey. These little gnats or something have gotten stuck and he has woven his little sticky ick around them. He creeps me out to no end, but is still completely fascinating. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow. Eek! The pattern alone of his web is wonderfully awesome.

I have two things to share. The first is a quote I've had written down for while and the other is something funny I said to my co-worker, but I love it!

"Creativity is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift to God." --Bob Moawad

T.G.I.S. (Thank God I'm Saved!)
I had first said TGIF, then changed it up a bit. I like the TFIS version, because no matter what day it is...I am still saved! Thank you Lord! :)

More later....Hope you have a nice long Labor Day weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
